Job Description

About this role: Wells Fargo is seeking a dynamic and adaptable Senior Lead Business Execution Consultant to join our evolving payments governance space in Operations. During the initial phase of the role, you will help establish a framework, reporting, and controls while working as part of an issues management team to gain a deeper understanding of the operations, objectives, and best practices. After successfully completing the initial phase, you will transition with the framework and control to the new owning organization where you will assume responsibility to execute and evolve the Travel Rule Governance program. This will involve running and reviewing control data, providing strategic analysis, counsel and thought leadership at the senior management and executive levels. This phased approach is designed to support successful migration into a business-as-usual approach and team within Operations. In this role, you will: Lead through influence, often without direct authority, persuading through use of data and facts. Maintain awareness of key Regulatory & Compliance requirements, provide thought leadership and subject matter expertise to senior management. Provide program leadership/support for the initiative to ensure success and sustainability. Perform daily execution, analyze results, reporting observations to relevant parties and tracking accordingly against established timelines. Serve as a product owner by evaluating observation dispositions and work with development teams to mature the established system ruleset to improve the product. Develop program related materials for executive audiences such as the Operating Committee, Board of Directors and associated committees, Regulators, and other Wells Fargo leadership. Work with business groups and enterprise to determine if any reported observations constitute material issues and need to be escalated/communicated with the wider enterprise. Design and implement solutions as new issues arise. Develop strategic planning to assess program needs, discuss gaps, and advise on the sequencing and organization of work to achieve program goals. And obtain leadership sign-off. Evolve sustainable program frameworks including road maps; roles and responsibilities; programs forums and councils; data management; reporting routines; stakeholder management plans; communication plans; etc. Identify potential risks when implementing change, develop mitigation strategies and plans. Lead both planned and ad hoc strategic analyses. Develop strategic concepts through the concept lifecycle – initial exploration, strategic design, socialization, approval and funding, program design, and program launch and provide program leadership through implementation. Adjust and adapt to the rolling, day-to-day changes that transpire in the running of program. Strategically engage with all levels of professionals and managers across the enterprise and serve as an expert advisor to leadership with the ability to present to senior executives across multiple business units

Required Qualifications:

7+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Knowledge of the Travel Rule regulation 3+ years Payments regulatory and compliance experience 3+ years of governance experience 3+ years’ experience designing and maintaining controls 3+ years of issue management experience Knowledge of product management Experience working closely with senior and executive leadership. Possesses executive presence, high energy, ability to manage complexity and a broad scope of daily work activities and stakeholders. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, combined with strategic business focus and vision. Superior business consulting and relationship management skills. Demonstrated ability to both think strategically and act tactically. Ability to create a strong collaborative work environment to successfully develop partnerships. Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment. Ability to present and discuss information in a manner that persuades, educates, and enhances understanding at all levels.

Job Expectations:
