The Business Analyst, Biomechanical Software, will be part ofthe Product Innovation (R D) team in the Raleigh, NC office. Inthis role you will drive, write, and manage requirements andsupport releases of cloud services and user-facing applications ina regulated medical device environment. Beyond regulatoryrequirements, you will work closely with expert stakeholders andwith developers of complex, computational geometry-based C++ andPython Applications deployed on the cloud as well as on desktopapplications. This position is in Product Research and Developmentand the role includes management of software requirements frominitial conception, documentation, and review through development,verification (SQA), and validation efforts. The successfulcandidate will have exceptional technical documentation skills, bedetail oriented, flexible, outspoken, and articulate as well ashave the ability to collaborate successfully with the software team(Development and Quality), cross-functional teams, andstakeholders. Depending on the expertise and experience, theposition level can be adjusted anywhere from junior to seniorlevel. Role expectations
- Derive use cases and detailed softwarerequirements from high level business and clinical goals.
- Closelycollaborate with Product Management, Software Development, Quality,and Product engineering teams to ensure requirements are testableand unambiguous.
- Manage traceability and regulatory documentationfor medical software.
- Contribute to architecture and softwaredesign decisions.
- Interview experts to build a consistent andcomprehensive knowledge base
- Manage requirements across multiplesoftware applications and take them through the release process.
- Create and continue to simplify internal processes so that theycomplement the company wide processes. What were looking for
- Strong communication skills – clear communications with technicaland non-technical audience.
- 5 years of Work experience in workingwith software requirements.
- Understanding of Software DevelopmentLife Cycle.
Highly Preferred:
Hands on Experience with 3Dprinting and writing requirements for 3D/Geometry-based software
- Interest in learning the problem domain and sharing knowledge withthe wider team
- Ability to work in a formal process and achievehigh quality in every detail.
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher inComputer Science, or STEM Major, or equivalent years of experience- Engineering preferred Complementary skills
- Basic 3D mathconcepts.
- Experience in R D environment.
- Experience withagile software development.
- Experience with cloud-basedapplications.
