CONSULTANT, BUSINESS ANALYST

– Fidelity Health Care Employee Digital Experience As a Business Analyst Consultant, you blend deep experience in health care benefits and product development with a passion for analysis, harnessing technology to solve complex business problems, while focusing to deliver and implement technology solutions within a digital experience. You will work closely with a Product Owner (Squad Leader) and technology team to create, prioritize, and maintain product backlog, as well as translate business requirements to technical resources to focus the team on delivering business solutions with the highest customer value. The Team The Business Analyst (BA) is part of the Fidelity Health Business Analyst Chapter (team), which supports product development across multiple health care domains. The BA works on a multi-functional Agile scrum team (squad), partnering with technology and business customers to develop and implement product and service features in health care applications from inception to delivery. Your squad in the Health Care Employee Digital Experience Product Area is focused on building API integration enhancements to support a reimagined customer enrollment experience. You will partner with the Squad Leader, the development team, and stakeholders to analyze HOBS recordkeeping system Data/tables and draft requirements to support enrollment and other life events functionality. The Expertise You Have Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred Solid understanding of the Fidelity business with work experience in health care and/or benefits administration and/or product development 6+ years Systems Development Business Analyst experience, ideally working in an Agile Scrum environment, with demonstrable ability to work across multiple multi-functional teams Shown expertise in various business analysis methodologies and techniques, including data analysis, use case development, story writing, user acceptance testing, and product documentation. Skilled in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio; Experience with JIRA or similar agile backlog management and testing tool Experience with Data analysis, SQL or basic database concepts is a plus HOBS recordkeeping is a plus API experience is a plus The Skills You Bring Skilled at translating business vision into defined and prioritized user stories for team’s backlog Ability to understand complex customer needs, translate them into user stories with concrete acceptance criteria, and drive solution formulation with a multi-functional team Customer-obsessed and have demonstrated a commitment to delivering frequent, high business value features Look for opportunities to innovate and take thoughtful risks to get work done better and faster You effectively and regularly lead, facilitate, and drive individuals and group meetings to common goals Highly organized and have a proven ability to prioritize and work under tight deadlines Skilled at building relationships, fostering strong teams, and influencing others Self-motivated, great teammate with the ability to plan and complete work independently, and partner effectively to handle dependencies Strong desire to learn and develop additional skills and expertise over time, as well as drive process improvement
