JOB DESCRIPTION
The Operations Project Management Office (OPMO) is seeking anexperienced Business Consultant In this highly visible role, youwill report to the Head of Operations PMO (OPMO) and supportprojects led or supported from the Operations organization. Youwill be responsible for coordinating, planning, and developingbusiness analysis and requirements documentation that support ourmoderate to large-scale business projects, as well as readinessinitiatives. This role requires extensive collaboration andcommunication across multiple business units within Operations andoutside of Operations (technology teams, suppliers,procurement).
The Team:
The OPMO oversees the execution of initiatives across Operations(Protection NB & UW, Policy Holder Services / Annuity NB, Strategy& Transformation, Shared Services & Enablement and Expense,Analytics & Governance). Our team partners closely withDistribution, Product and Legal/Compliance to deliver value throughproject implementation. We leverage standards put in place by theCorporate Function PMO (CFPMO) to drive consistency across ourportfolio. The team is focused on driving and aligning criticalprograms and projects across our Operations organization, creatingmore visibility into this work, while enabling betterprioritization, collaboration, and execution. We strive forcontinuous improvement and best in class service to ourclients. As a Business Consultant, you will:
Formulate and define businessand/or systems scope and objectives based on both user needs and agood understanding of applicable industry requirements Devise or modify procedures to solve complex problems consideringbusiness and/or system limitations, operating time, and form ofdesired results Provide analysis of business and user needs, documentation ofrequirements, and translation into proper business and/or systemrequirements Guide and advise less-experienced Business Analysts.
