Job Summary
We are seeking a Lead Business Analyst with deep expertise in the Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance domain, specifically in commercial lines such as Workers’ Compensation, Audit, Auto, General Liability, Property, and packaged policies. The ideal candidate will have strong experience supporting insurance applications, legacy modernization, and stakeholder engagement, along with the ability to lead regional teams and drive continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities
Support applications within the P&C insurance domain, focusing on commercial lines.
Lead analysis and documentation of new business submissions, underwriting workflows, quoting, and policy issuance processes.
Manage renewal processes including re-underwriting, risk reassessment, and updated quoting.
Collaborate with underwriting and policy administration teams, preferably with experience in Policy Decision systems.
Drive legacy application sunset and modernization initiatives.
Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders using clear business language.
Mentor and manage regional teams and direct reports.
Foster strong relationships with internal teams and third-party service providers.
Promote customer satisfaction through proactive engagement and issue resolution.
Ensure adherence to departmental and company procedures and policies.
Identify and develop technical and non-technical skills of team members.
Demonstrate reliability and leadership, inspiring and motivating staff. Required Qualifications
Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience in the P&C insurance domain, with a focus on commercial lines.
Strong understanding of underwriting, policy administration, and insurance workflows.
Experience with legacy system modernization and application support.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Proven ability to lead and mentor teams across regions.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Strong customer service orientation and problem-solving skills. Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Policy Decision or similar policy administration platforms.
Familiarity with Revenue Cycle Management processes.
Exposure to Agile methodologies and business process improvement initiatives.
