Full Time – Business Analyst With Mortgage and Loan Exp.
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Business Analyst with proven experience in the mortgage and loan domain
. The ideal candidate will be responsible for gathering business requirements, analyzing processes, and driving strategic improvements in loan origination, servicing, underwriting, and regulatory compliance systems
Key Responsibilities:
Gather and document detailed business requirements from stakeholders.
Analyze and map current and future mortgage and loan workflows, identifying gaps and improvement opportunities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT, operations, compliance, and third-party vendors.
Create functional specifications, process flow diagrams, and user stories for technical teams.
Lead and participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure systems meet business requirements.
Monitor and analyze system performance, reporting insights and recommending optimizations.
Ensure solutions meet all relevant regulatory and compliance standards (e.g., CFPB, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac).
Support implementation of new loan origination and servicing technologies.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in Business, Finance, IT, or a related field.
8+ years of Business Analyst experience
, with at least 5 years in the mortgage or loan industry
.
Strong knowledge of mortgage lifecycle origination, underwriting, closing, servicing, etc.
Experience with LOS (Loan Origination Systems) like Encompass, Calyx, or similar.
Familiarity with federal and state lending regulations.
Proficiency in tools like JIRA, Confluence, MS Visio, and MS Office Suite.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
