SALARY/HOURLY RATE
$33/hr – $42/hr (Contract, 9 months with potential to convert to permanent)
POSITION OVERVIEW
As a Senior Analyst, you won’t just be building spreadsheets; you will be building stories. From sales reporting to budget forecasting, you will help steer strategic decisions, working closely with senior leadership. This is your chance to combine sharp analysis with real business influence, all in a collaborative and creative environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE SENIOR ANALYST
Deliver daily sales revenue reports with precision and speed.
Own monthly revenue and expense reporting; collaborate with departments on budget management.
Analyze revenue drivers and trends to assess business impact.
Support month-end close processes and present findings to senior leadership.
Assist with QA testing and help implement tools like NetSuite and BI platforms.
Contribute to the development of annual budgets and forecasts.
Provide licensing forecasts to brand partners.
Tackle ad hoc projects with the Finance Director and Senior Business Manager.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE/SKILLS FOR THE SENIOR ANALYST
2 – 5 years of experience in data analysis, finance, or market research.
Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, vlookups, and handling large data sets.
Strong financial acumen and ability to manage reporting and projections.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Self-starter with adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE/SKILLS FOR THE SENIOR ANALYST
Experience in the publishing or media industry.
Familiarity with NetSuite or BI platforms.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, or a related field is required.
Master’s degree is preferred.
