What You Will Learn:
The Revenue Growth Management (RGM) team is a strategic analytics group that works across brands to help understand market & consumer dynamics to drive profitable growth. This role will focus on developing data-driven business recommendations for RGM levers like pricing, promotion, and mix.
Responsibilities may include:
Proactively partner with Marketing, Sales, & Finance on strategic business decisions to drive profitable growth Build strong relationships with cross-functional teams Provide recommendations to stakeholders using pricing research methodologies such as Choice-Based Conjoint and Van Westendorp Price Sensitivity Meter Develop dashboards and tools to empower stakeholders to make more informed decisions Own the creation of insights and recommendations through data sources and a strong understanding of our internal business strategy Present analysis and recommendations to key stakeholders, including senior executives Utilize and combine multiple sources of information to help develop a holistic business strategy Analyze syndicated data to understand market trends and competitive landscape Analyze promotional spend, including Return on Investment (ROI) analysis Analyze financial modeling to ensure recommendations are beneficial to both the consumer, retailer, and L’Oréal
USA What We Are Looking For:
Team members come from varying backgrounds including market research, analytics, finance, and marketing, but share a focus on making data-driven and business-informed recommendations.
Required Qualifications:
2+ years of experience working in a strategic consulting or analytics role Educational background in Data Analytics, Finance, Economics, Marketing, Mathematics, or Engineering Experience with data analytics software such as R, Excel, Tableau, and/or Power BI Hands-on experience working with large datasets to derive insights and develop recommendations Analytically minded with a focus on solving complex business problems through data analysis Able to determine the right solution and resources needed to address different questions Understands how different data is generated and its potential limitations A strong storyteller who can craft presentations that are focused but thorough and is comfortable presenting to upper level management Aims to build relationships with other teams to further their knowledge and impact within the company Interest in how RGM levers like pricing, promotions, and mix help drive a business
Preferred Qualifications:
CPG industry experience, including strong working knowledge of scanner and promotional data Knowledge/experience with discrete choice modeling and consumer research Brand P&L experience, including financial modeling Understanding of market trends and competitive landscape Experience presenting complex analyses and recommendations to senior leadership As an integral part of our culture at L’Oréal, wellness is at our core.
