Reference #: 2616_Camp_HillJOB DESCRIPTIONThe Senior Business Analysis Manager is responsible for managing a multi-discipline or multi-departmental team of Business Analysts and Project Managers in support of cross-functional Enterprise initiatives and projects. This role’s focus is on leading teams in providing analytical, system testing and project support to internal clients, including working in collaboration with IT on system upgrades, implementations and ongoing post-implementation client support. This role operates in the Intelligent Automation space, and is responsible for leading a team of Business Analysts dedicated to advancing a newly formed Intelligent Automation (IA) practice specific to packaged AI capabilities and Robotic Process Automation (RPA). The Senior Manager plays a critical part in shaping the automation roadmap, engaging with senior business stakeholders to identify and prioritize opportunities, and ensuring delivery teams realize measurable business value through automation.

RESPONSIBILITIESManages and develops multi-discipline or multi-departmental teams focused on Intelligent Automation (IA) to achieve strategic objectives, including determining staffing needs, setting goals, interviewing, selecting, coaching, and evaluating the performance of all direct reports.

Leads a team of Intelligent Automation Analysts partnering with Business, Finance and other key stakeholders in the identification, qualification, quantification, prioritization and execution of automation opportunities across enterprise.

Forecasts staff capacity and evaluates work/project requests to determine feasibility (cost/benefits analyses) and appropriate department resourcing.

Conducts thorough analysis of interdependencies, business risks, and risk mitigators related to delivering proof of concepts, new products, services, and processes. Actively supports the evaluation and selection of appropriate packaged AI services and technologies-including Azure Document Intelligence, NLP, Speech-to-Text, Chatbots, Generative AI, and UiPath-to design, prototype, and validate innovative solutions that meet business needs and ensure technical feasibility.

Provides oversight of project work schedules and budget to ensure compliance to plan. Initiates corrective actions when variances are discovered.

Guides team through escalated problem-solving including problem definition, data correlations, root cause analysis and mitigation options, leveraging relationships with other department leaders to come to the best solution.

Oversees the accuracy and integrity of Intelligent Automation, which involves maintaining a deep understanding of regulatory, compliance, and data privacy considerations associated with Intelligent Automation.

Represents executive leadership on special projects and cross-departmental enterprise initiatives.

Works with Business and Technology/Automation Engineers to ensure business requirements are translated into technical specifications that are feasible and scalable.

Proposes new program ideas, best practice protocols, workflows and process improvements; and represents the IA team in executive forums, steering committees, and special initiatives, acting as the voice of business automation strategy and execution.

QUALIFICATIONS8+ years of experience along with a Bachelor’s degree in associated field; 1+ years supervisory/management required, 5+ years supervisory/management experience highly preferred.

Experience in intelligent automation and/or artificial intelligence required.

Strong organization and time management skills, including the ability to multi-task while maintaining attention to detail.

Advanced analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.

Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Knowledge of policies, procedures, and guidelines of Delta Dental.

Ability to be an advocate for the business by ensuring project objectives are completed on time and to th quality standards as defined by the business.

Knowledge of project development lifecycle, including the ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple projects.

Ability to maintain and execute on strategic priorities.

Ability to coordinate issues identification and resolution between clients and the development team, building engagement and a “one-team” approach.

Strong understanding of packaged AI services and technologies including Azure Document Intelligence, NLP, Speech-to-Text, Chatbots, Generative AI, and UiPath to guide solution ideation and feasibility.

Base Pay InformationThe national base pay range at the end is a good-faith estimate of what Delta Dental may pay for new hires. Actual pay may vary based on Delta Dental’s assessment of the candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities (KSAs), related experience, education, certifications and ability to meet required minimum job qualifications. Other factors impacting pay include prevailing wages in the work location and internal equity.
