Role:

The Northeastern Pennsylvania Industrial Resource Center Inc. (NEPIRC) is a public-private partnership technical assistance firm that provides world-class training and consultative services to small and mid-sized manufacturers in an 11-county region of northeastern, northern, and north central Pennsylvania. We are seeking a motivated and strategic Business Advisor to drive growth, build relationships, and identify new opportunities. In this role, you will play a critical part in expanding our market presence by nurturing existing client relationships, growing new relationships, and using a consultative approach to understand each company’s unique needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Identify and pursue new business opportunities through cross selling, prospecting, and networking. Develop and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing clients to become a trusted advisor. Understand client needs using a consultative approach. Collaborate with NEPIRC’s subject matter experts to create proposals tailored to the client’s needs. Ensure all client expectations are exceeded from the beginning of the sales cycle to the delivery of services. Stay up to date on sales training, competitors, and potential for new service offerings. Manage and own the client relationship through all aspects – scheduling, customer service, etc. Update CRM data as needed to ensure contacts, opportunities, projects, etc., are up to date.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field. 4 year’s experience in B2B sales or comparable experience. Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills. Proven track record of achieving sales or growth targets. Business acumen with the ability to interact professionally with C-level executives. Self-structure with the ability to plan, organize, and execute independently while managing multiple tasks and priorities. Commitment to a team environment to collaborate, discuss, and develop solutions for the betterment of the customer experience. Proficiency with CRM software, preferably Salesforce, and Microsoft Office Suite. Valid PA driver’s license.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in the manufacturing industry. Knowledge of Lean/continuous improvement/Six Sigma, Quality Management Systems, safety (OSHA), and interpersonal skills (Emotional Intelligence).

What We Offer:

Annual compensation of $65,000.00 to $78,000.00 depending on experience plus performance based incentives. 401(k) matching. Health, dental, vision, and life insurance. Generous paid time off including vacation, personal, sick, wellness, and 9 federal holidays.
