WHAT DOES THE BUSINESS CONSULTANT DO
Compiles lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads,based on information from publications, databases, trustedadvisors, client referrals and other sources. Makes in-person contacts with potential clients in the assignedterritory and converts contacts into new clients. Meets pre-defined goals for initial contacts, presentations,proposals and closed contracts. Turns in weekly sales and prospect tracking reports. Manages all leads from the initial contact to close of the sale; toinclude any marketing activity such as tele-prospecting, endorsedmailings. direct mail. etc. Attends and actively participate in sales meetings and trainingsessions. Tracks ratios of contacts to presentations, presentations toproposals and proposals to closes. Seeks out the training needed torealize regular improvement in each ratio. Coordinates with, supports and continuously visits assignedrelationship partners and trusted advisors. Advances personal education and training by taking advantage of allin-house training material, audio tapes, and other resources. Prepares reports of business transactions and keeps expenseaccounts. Acts as principal and continuous liaison with existing clients inorder to prevent miscommunications, competitive inroads, and otherinterference with Landrum Professional and LandrumConsulting/Client relationship.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
