Description Job Purpose:

Through effective, professional Customer Relationship Management, consults with customers to understand their needs and how CPSS’ services may identify and address their business problems/opportunities. Provides comprehensive research and analysis as well as leadership on individual and team work assignments, making decisions independently with some guidance from manager. Recommends creative and effective solutions for complex business problems or opportunities at line-of-business level. Directs the activities of other staff members on their team in topics such as, project management, direction, and analysis. May participate in the training and career development of staff. May assist department managers in day-to-day operations of the department.

Logistics:

This position is full-time (40 hours/week, 8 hours/day) Monday – Friday and is located at 105 New Way Road in Columbia, SC. There is the possibility for hybrid work once training is complete and performance standards are being met.

What You’ll Do:

Conducts in-depth quantitative and qualitative analysis of key cross-functional business processes within a specific business unit to provide business managers with critical data to make key tactical decisions. Identifies, researches, evaluates, and quantifies all aspects of a business solution or opportunity. Consults with corporation’s managers from front line supervisors up to vice presidents engaged in design, development, communication, and implementation of said business solutions or opportunities. Conducts a comprehensive analysis that synthesizes disparate information, both internal (cross-business) and external (industry and competitive). May consult with customers in recommending a strategic solution to complex business issues/opportunities. Consults and collaborates with all levels of management (to include senior level executives) in facilitating and leading teams in providing analysis on industry, business trends, and key operations/functions to solve business problems and maximize opportunities. Manages one’s own tasks in projects, a project team and/or leads multiple projects. Works with customers to negotiate and manage deadlines based on the requirements of the business. Determines, sets, and executes best direction in addressing business issues or opportunity by facilitating communication within business units. Directs activities of other staff members on their team on topics such as project management, direction, analysis. May provide guidance/leadership to staff pertaining to training/department initiatives. May assist department managers in day-to-day operations of the department. To Qualify for

This Position, You’ll Need:
Required Education:

A Bachelor’s degree in a job-related field OR 4 years of job-related work experience OR An Associate’s degree AND 2 years of job-related work experience.

Required Work Experience:

4 years of related work experience in organizational development, business analysis, process improvement (e.g. six sigma, reengineering), corporate/strategic planning, financial analysis, business systems analysis, business development, market/industry research or management of a business operation, in any business setting, including I/T.

Required Training:

PAHM certification within 1 year of hire. We Prefer You to

Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.

Business Planning:

Experience helping business units envision key goals and methods to attain those goals.

Business Improvement and Innovation:

Experience with structured improvement and innovation methodologies to understand the current state, identify best opportunities,, execute action plans to enable success and achieve improvements.

Business Change Implementation:

Experience utilizing structured project and change management frameworks to drive strategic and tactical change.

Business Learning and Development:
