This position will be responsible for optimizing the demand plan, each month, for a 24-month outlook across multiple sales regions in support of the Masonite business unit. Working in coordination with sales leaders, global sourcing, and product managers, establishes alternative scenarios, evaluates financial impacts, establish statistical and market analysis, monitor external market indicators, and ensures that customer requirements are met through weekly monitoring, reporting and communicating with leadership. Lead the demand consensus process each month to review forecasts while driving alignment to the best operational demand plan. Develop demand forecasts (operational/sales forecasts) at multiple levels of aggregation for multiple time horizons as part of the demand planning and dependent demand function. Supports the implementation of Integrated Business Planning processes across multiple regions to achieve the required forecast accuracy and other critical metrics for the business unit and for our customers. Support the development of Business Intelligence content for Sales and Operations Establishes regional / local S&OP processes, with particular focus on demand management (daily demand control reports, statistical forecasting). Responsible for creating the unit level annual operating plan (AOP) and quarterly financial forecasts while implementing processes to ensure that the team and the company meet the unit targets and financial goals. Managing/Defining complex ad hoc reporting as needed. Support other functions with demand planning analytical support (Ops, Finance, Sourcing, Logistics, FPA, etc.). Support cross functional projects to drive improvements in supply chain performance. Utilize personal leadership skills by providing process training, and participating in key business process improvement initiatives Organizes effective and efficient communication between all functions in the full value chain: customers, sales, marketing, production, procurement, suppliers, finance and IT to integrate data and planning across the business. Other tasks assigned by the IBP Manager or leadership to meet company goals and targets. Education Bachelor’s Degree required Master’s degree in finance, supply chain management, industrial engineering or other related technical field preferred Experience Minimum 2 years of experience in Supply Chain Planning required. Prior work with programming, statistical analysis and development of algorithms to solve complex problems. Lean and Six Sigma experience preferred.
