This is a hybrid position with 3 days on-site in the Knoxville TN area location. Candidates must reside within a reasonable driving distance to the Knoxville TN area office location to be considered for this position . As an IT Business Analyst, you will collaborate with various business areas to gather and define business processes and requirements, identifying opportunities for improvement with the goal of implementing new functionalities. Within the Portfolio team, your analytical skills and tools will be used to document and clarify stakeholder needs for project design and implementation. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential as you will serve as a bridge between business and technical teams, including tech-shared services, portfolio teams, development teams, and subject matter experts. This role involves both business and technology interactions, requiring effective problem-solving, analytical thinking, and organizational abilities.
Key Skills:
Gathering Requirements from users, Documentation, process mapping, and systems mapping. Gap analysis between current and future state for migrating from AS400 to Oracle ERP Cloud. IT Business Analyst- Hybrid Key Responsibilities Simplify and communicate both business requirements and technical complexities so that software engineers and business users can easily understand them. Develop, maintain, and execute change management strategies, including stakeholder management, communication, training, and monitoring organizational readiness. Advocate for process changes to business stakeholders and technical teams to support improvements in future-state designs and new products/platforms. Lead the implementation of process improvements by identifying potential enhancements, mapping process changes, obtaining approval, refining requirements, and communicating project capabilities to business leaders, stakeholders, technical teams, and users. Coordinate and communicate with vendors and third parties as needed. Mentor and support other team members. IT Business Analyst- Hybrid Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of technical and business experience. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including intermediate-level skills in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio. Demonstrated experience facilitating requirement workshops and training sessions with large groups of business users and leadership. Experience in process mapping, group facilitation, data gathering, and analysis, as well as all phases of the project lifecycle (requirements gathering, design, development, deployment, training, and evaluation), including Agile methodologies. Proven ability to collaborate with Quality Assurance professionals to develop test cases and conduct user acceptance testing. IT Business Analyst- Hybrid Preferred Skills Ability to quickly learn software applications, ensuring data integrity while querying, processing, and analyzing data. Experience eliciting and designing report requirements, translating them for development, and validating reports. Strong ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and adjust to changing priorities. Exceptional attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Experience introducing new technology features and functionality to user groups. Proven track record in process improvement for efficiency or cost savings. Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse groups of stakeholders, including executives, managers, technology professionals, subject matter experts, and end users.
