Job Summary:
Are you a results-oriented individual with a strong background in the insurance industry and a passion for helping others succeed? The Farmers District Office is seeking a highly motivated and knowledgeable Agency Business Consultant to join our team. This is not a sales position but a crucial role focused on developing and empowering new agency owners and insurance producers within our district. In this hybrid role, you will initially immerse yourself in learning the intricacies of Farmers’ diverse policies, products, and services. Once proficient, you will transition into a training and coaching capacity, guiding new agents through their onboarding process and equipping them with the knowledge and skills necessary to thrive. This position offers a flexible schedule and the opportunity to make a significant impact on the growth and success of our district.
Responsibilities:
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of all Farmers Insurance products, policies, and services.
- Conduct engaging and effective training sessions for new agency owners and insurance producers.
- Provide ongoing coaching and support to new agents to ensure their success.
- Stay up-to-date on Farmers’ latest offerings, industry trends, and best practices.
- Collaborate with district leadership to identify training needs and develop relevant training materials.
- Track and report on the progress and performance of new agents.
- Assist with other district support functions as needed.
Qualifications:
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets in the insurance or a related industry.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong coaching and mentoring abilities.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new information.
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred:
Active Property and Casualty (P&C) license.
