Additionally, we provide Functional Service Provider (FSP) Solutions, supporting our clients with scientific and technical expertise, acting as an extension of their team, coordinating all laboratory related needs, advising on strategies for lab data collection and providing end-to-end analytical and logistical solutions.
Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic IT Business Analyst to join our team to usher our company into a bold new chapter defined by innovation and technology. This role is pivotal in bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions. The ideal candidate will analyze business requirements, translate them into functional specifications, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful IT solutions aligned with our technology roadmap. This is a remote role.
Responsibilities:
Work with the Business Analyst Team Lead to align priorities, share insights, and ensure analysis efforts are strategically focused and effectively executed. Execute business analysis activities based on roadmap priorities established by the leadership and steering committee. Translate business requirements into clear, actionable user stories and functional specifications. Collaborate closely with developers, Subject Matter Experts, and QA Testers to ensure requirements and design for alignment with our overall technology Roadmap. Communicate design to all stakeholders and varying levels of the organization. Function as the liaison between business, developers, and project management groups. Present and evaluate design solutions objectively and facilitate conflict resolution. Work closely with the Process Excellence team to strategize solutions that support long term business objectives and prepare detailed flow charts and diagrams outlining systems capabilities and processes. Collaborate with QA testing team to ensure testing efforts validate intended business outcomes and user needs. Analyzes and evaluates existing and proposed systems to identify gaps between current capabilities and future-state requirements. Maintains confidentiality regarding the information being processed, stored, or accessed by the network. Collaborate with development teams to coordinate and support software release activities. Attend regular meetings and work closely with other departments and Business Analysts to share information, solve problems, and support company goals. Performs other related duties and tasks as necessary or as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Clinical trials experience. Experience working with test plans and test cases. Experience working in an Agile environment or familiarity with Agile methodology. 5+ years of experience in Systems Analysis or IT Development 5+ years of experience in all phases of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) 5+ years of experience translating business requirements into detailed system specifications 5+ years of experience mapping data from web services or database to user interface Proficiency with MS Project, Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint This job description should not be construed to imply that these requirements are the exclusive standards of the position.
