8:00 AM – 5:00

PM EST Responsibilities:

Coordinate purchasing activities for materials, services, and products aligned with program requirements
Partner with program leads to identify long lead materials and collaborate with sourcing teams to select and award suppliers from approved lists
Create and manage purchase orders using Coupa and Costpoint software
Ensure readiness of supplier documentation (e.g., NDAs, terms and conditions) prior to engagement
Oversee supplier orders, track backlog and daily status updates, adjust schedules, and resolve issues related to overdue shipments and open orders
Work alongside logistics teams to facilitate timely, cost-effective delivery of materials to production sites
Ensure compliance with material purchasing, storage, and transportation requirements
Monitor supplier performance and maintain related reports and documentation
Address discrepancies in purchasing, delivery, invoicing, and payment processes
Expedite materials to address shortages as needed
Manage return processes for non-conforming materials identified during inspection
Actively contribute to continuous improvement across the supply chain

Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years of tactical-level purchasing experience
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field
Preferred experience in aerospace and defence industry products
Certifications such as APICS, CPM, CSCP or equivalent strongly preferred
Proven ability to thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments and manage multiple priorities
Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Effective communication and collaboration skills, both written and verbal
Strong organizational and analytical capabilities
Demonstrated negotiation skills with measurable results
Industry experience in aerospace preferred; automotive or manufacturing backgrounds also considered
