Position Title:
Buyer II
Position Description:
Protingent has an exciting contract Buyer II opportunity with our client in Merritt Island, FL.
Job Responsibilities:
Supporting sourcing for NASA programs.
Identifying potential sources & preparing and issuingpetitive Requests for Quote
Writing price reasonableness determinations/price analyses in support of supplier quotes (when required)
Support negotiations of all types (when required).
Job Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of experience, master’s degree with 3 years of experience in Business Administration/Management, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related degree
Interprets and appliespany policies, procedures, work instructions, business standards, and U.S. government regulations, i.e., FAR, DFAR, SOX Compliance
Ensure the timely and effectivepletion of projects and initiatives of the supply chain department.
Ability to write price reasonableness determinations/price analyses of all types per FAR requirements
Experience supporting negotiations of all types, including, but not limited to, pricing, terms and conditions, FAR/customer contract flowdowns, and schedule
Working understanding of AS9100 standards
Knowledge of Engineering Data such as specifications, drawings, & statements of work
Proven ability to meet tight deadlines, multitask, and prioritize workload
Desired Qualifications:
Experience in the procurement of avionics, machined parts, and raw materials
Experience working in Costpoint, Exostar, Windchill, SharePoint, JIRA, Tableau
Experience working with Certified Cost or Pricing Data
