The NPI Buyer- Power Systems will play a critical role in supporting the development and introduction of new products within GE Aerospace Power Systems. This position is responsible for sourcing, procurement, and supplier management activities to ensure timely delivery of high-quality materials and components required for new product development. The NPI Buyer will collaborate closely with engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to align procurement strategies with program goals, ensuring compliance with GE Aerospace’s SQDC (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost) priorities.

- Role & Responsibilities
- + Source and procure materials, components, and services required for new product development.
+ Ensure alignment with engineering specifications, quality standards, and program timelines. + Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers capable of meeting NPI requirements. + Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure collaboration and performance. + Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to achieve cost savings while maintaining quality and delivery standards. + Work closely with engineering, manufacturing, and program management teams to understand NPI requirements and timelines. + Provide procurement expertise to support design changes, prototype builds, and production ramp-up. + Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, including lead time constraints, capacity issues, and quality concerns. + Develop contingency plans to ensure uninterrupted supply for NPI programs. + Ensure all procurement activities comply with GE Aerospace policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. + Track and report key performance metrics related to supplier performance, cost savings, and delivery timelines. + Support lean initiatives and process improvements within the supply chain to enhance efficiency and reduce waste. + Collaborate on initiatives aligned with GE Aerospace’s

- Required Qualifications
- + Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field + A minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, sourcing, or GE Operations Management Leadership Program (OMLP) Graduate

The base pay range for this position is $94,400.00 – 125,900.00. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary/ commission based on the plan. This posting is expected to close on 7/1/2025.
