Your primary responsibility will be to work with existing systems to analyze inventory requirements as well as working with vendors to understand lead times to receive inventory. You will work in the company ERP system and use Microsoft Excel/Outlook as necessary tools. Working effectively with others is a needed skill as there are many stakeholders attached to each purchase. The coordinator will also assist in various duties focused on fulfillment of customers’ deliveries. Procure inventory in line with invoice schedule date. Collaborate with various departments to determine procurement needs. Preparing and processing purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Building and nurturing strong relationships with vendors to foster long-term partnerships. Maintain requested dates in line with invoice schedule date with vendors. Communicating with vendors and keeping track of inventory lead times. Ensuring that inventory is received at the correct cost. Maintain up-to-date inventory and procurement reports, ensuring that all data is accurate and readily available for review.
