Job Description
Purchasing Agent 3.9 3.9 out of 5 stars 6201 North Suncoast Boulevard, Crystal River, FL 34428 Purchasing Agent – ( 250002CI ) Description Compiles, create and enters all stock and non-stock purchases into the facilities system. Maintains purchase order files with appropriate documentation. Assists with the departments daily activities and acts as the gatekeeper to the facilities purchasing system. Ensures that TGHN policies and procedures are adhered to and is responsible for maintaining the facilities standing/blanket purchase orders. Completes reconciliation of A/P processing and all exceptions are addressed in a timely manner. Monitors the one-time purchase orders for necessity. Reviews product and vendors for contract compliance; coordinates and resolves issues regarding existing and new products. Creates and maintains accurate documentation in the appropriate purchasing system for reports. Data entry for CER’s, purchase orders, invoice and the information collected throughout the approval process within the CER tracking log. Organizes and maintains filing system for all records specific to Capital purchases (CER’s). Must be able to simultaneously manage multiple projects and meet all deadlines. Perform a variety of task and all other duties as assigned, by the Director. Qualifications Education Degree Major And/Or Associate’s Degree Related Field License/Registration License/Registration – Issued by Florida or Compact State And/Or Certification Certification And/Or Work Experience and Additional Information 2 years related experience required. Technical Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Inventory knowledge. Medical knowledge. General Accounting knowledge. Effective oral and written communication skills in the English language. Ability to perform effectively in fast paced, stressful environment
