Job Description
Overview:
A well-established and growing service company is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Bookkeeper/Purchasing Agent to support ongoing operations. This role is ideal for professionals who enjoy solving problems, working collaboratively, and contributing to a dynamic team environment. The position does not include payroll processing at this time.
Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate and organized financial records, excluding year-end tax filings Collaborate with project and operations teams to generate invoices for completed work Record and track incoming payments Reconcile bank and credit statements monthly Manage inventory valuation and ensure records are up to date Process accounts payable and prepare checks Monitor and follow up on accounts receivable Prepare and present monthly financial reports, including balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and year-over-year comparisons Submit monthly sales tax reports Coordinate with external accountants to support accurate tax preparation
