Purchasing Agent / Buyer for Luxury Single Family Homes Neo Homes LLC Tampa, FL 33603 Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Purchasing Agent to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing the procurement process, ensuring that materials and subcontractors are acquired efficiently and cost-effectively. This position requires strong skills in supply chain management for a luxury home builder to support our operational goals. Responsibilities Organize Purchasing Process Issue PO’s Recruit Subcontractors and Suppliers Negotiate Pricing Create Scope of Work Work with Designer to purchase and value engineer client selected materials Provide cost and markup for Client Change Orders Work closely with Controller to track budgets and possible price increases Collaborate with team members and Architect to value engineer plans Communicate with Construction Manager to insure material and labor is coordinated with construction schedule Perform material take offs when needed Buy out the entire home in a timely manner to help determine budget before ground breaking Requirements 10 years experience in supply chain management, materials management, or logistics. Strong understanding of procurement processes and inventory management techniques. Experience using Builder Trend is a plus. Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to build strong relationships with suppliers. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail for evaluating supplier proposals and performance. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while managing multiple priorities effectively. A proactive approach to problem-solving with a focus on continuous improvement.
