Position Summary U Dump Trailers is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Purchasing Associate to support our growing manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will work closely with our production and inventory teams to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of materials, components, and supplies critical to our trailer manufacturing process. Key Responsibilities Source and order raw materials, trailer components, and shop supplies based on production schedules and inventory levels Monitor purchase orders to ensure timely delivery and resolve any supply chain issues Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and vendor performance Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors Coordinate with the production team to forecast material needs Assist in negotiating pricing, contracts, and terms with suppliers Support inventory control processes and cycle counts as needed Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in purchasing efficiency and cost control Qualifications 2+ years of experience in purchasing, supply chain, or materials management (manufacturing experience preferred) Strong organizational and time management skills Proficiency with purchasing or ERP software (e.g., Fishbowl etc.) & Microsoft 365 Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Strong communication skills (written and verbal) High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or higher preferred Why Join U Dump Trailers?
