The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, an understanding of data-driven decision-making, and the ability to effectively communicate findings. This presents an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to make a real impact on our products and our company. Duties & Responsibilities

  • Serve as the resident expert on all Deere products, including machinery, parts, and components.
  • Stay updated on the latest developments, innovations, and technical specifications related to John Deere products.
  • Develop and nurture strong relationships with John Deere suppliers to ensure timely delivery, competitive pricing, and consistency.
  • Collaborate with suppliers directly to address any issues related to product quality, availability, or performance.
  • Work closely with the procurement team to develop and implement effective strategies for sourcing John Deere products.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and negotiate favorable terms and agreements with John Deere suppliers.
  • Review price lists from suppliers and analyze the inventory needs for John Deere parts.
  • Monitor John Deere product inventory levels and develop inventory management strategies to optimize stock levels while minimizing overstock.
  • Coordinate with various departments to forecast demand and ensure adequate stock availability.
  • Accurately inputting machine information and numerical data into designated systems or databases.
  • Implement and maintain quality assurance procedures to ensure that all John Deere products meet our organization’s standards and specifications.
  • Conduct regular quality audits and inspections of John Deere products to identify and address any quality issues promptly.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, and maintenance, to ensure that John Deere products meet the requirements of various departments.
  • Provide technical support and expertise in John Deere parts to management, and/or other internal areas such as Quality Control, Sales, etc. as needed.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks related to John Deere products.
  • Monitor competitor activities and market dynamics to inform procurement decisions and strategies.
  • Train other departments as necessary on John Deere parts knowledge. Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in procurement, supply chain management, or a related field, with a focus on John Deere products preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of John Deere machinery, parts, and components, including technical specifications and performance characteristics.
  • Strong negotiation skills and building and maintaining effective supplier relationships.
  • Fully bilingual with excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and levels of the organization.
