The Procurement Analyst II for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for tactical procurement, inventory control and supplier management for the Reagent product lines. This position is part of the Materials and Planning team located in Hialeah, FL and will be on site. At Beckman Coulter, our mission is to Relentlessly Reimagine Healthcare, One Diagnosis at a Time. You will be a part of the Materials team and report to the Materials Supervisor responsible for supplier relationship management, order placement and inventory targets for your commodities. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: Drive inventory management and optimization for your commodities to increase cash flow and improve material availability metrics (OTD, stockouts, late orders, etc) Drive the analysis and review of demand data to support purchasing and planning decisions, ensuring supply continuity and efficiency. Manage vendor relationships to develop and champion characteristics of preferred suppliers, identifying potential savings opportunities and lead cross-functional initiatives to achieve Purchase Price Variance (PPV) financial goals. The essential requirements of the job include: A minimum of a Bachelors’ degree with 2+ years of relevant experience, or a Master’s Degree in Supply Chain and 0+ years of relevant experience. Inventory management and optimization Demand analysis and planning in both MRP and Kanban environments Vendor relationship management experience It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in: Vendor consignment programs Leading or participating in continuous improvement initiatives This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
