The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing procurement processes, vendor relationships and inventory management. This position requires strong analytical skills and the ability to work collaboratively with various departments to ensure timely acquisition of goods and services necessary for manufacturing operations.
Responsibilities:
Manage the procurement process by identifying needs, sourcing suppliers and purchasing goods and services. Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing and contracts within our systems. Oversee vendor management activities ensuring compliance and with contractual obligations. Collaborate with internal teams to forecast purchasing needs and streamline procurement processes. Analyze market trends to identify potential cost saving opportunities. Manage and keep track of inventory levels. Develop strong relationship with suppliers to enhance service delivery and resolve issues as they arise.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in purchasing or procurement roles preferred. Familiar with vendor management practices and supplier relationship development. Proficient in using procurement systems; experience with Excel. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to assess pricing strategies effectively. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Degree in Business administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field is preferred but not required.
