Raise is currently hiring a Junior Manufacturing Buyer team member on behalf of our client. They’re expanding their team to meet growing needs, making this a unique opportunity to work with an industry leader. Responsibilities Assist in reducing backlog activities including invoices, rejections, and purchase requisitions.
Convert purchasing requests into accurate purchase orders.
Manage purchase order changes including cancellations, rescheduling, and updates to quantity or pricing.
Follow up on and expedite outstanding purchase orders.
Maintain data accuracy within the ERP system.
Ensure supplier accounts payable remain current; support Finance in resolving invoice discrepancies for timely payments.
Monitor and action Quality Notifications within required timelines.
Generate reports using SAP and Excel to support purchasing activities.
Manage and escalate material shortages to avoid production delays.
Act as a collaborative member of the integrated project/program team.
Provide input and updates related to past due customer orders.
Lead initiatives aimed at improving customer on-time delivery (OTD).
Manage tasks effectively while adhering to departmental KPIs.
Provide cross-functional updates by coordinating with Engineering, Repairs, Planning, Warehouse, QA, and other internal teams.
Communicate project actions, ownership, due dates, timelines, and escalations clearly and proactively.
Drive issue resolution independently with minimal supervision.
Resolve part certification discrepancies (8130-3, CoC, EASA) to process rejections and initiate RMAs.
Support additional projects and responsibilities as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field is required (equivalent experience and education may be considered).
At least 1 year of experience in procurement tasks such as requesting quotations, issuing purchase orders, and validating PO accuracy and compliance with documentation.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Proven problem-solving and organizational abilities with a track record of driving assignments to completion.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Familiarity with Power BI for data analysis and reporting.
Demonstrated work ethic with determination, creativity, and accountability.

Preferred Qualifications
1+ years of experience in purchasing or supply chain functions.
Hands-on experience using SAP or similar ERP systems.
Background in aviation or aerospace supply chain operations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Visio, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Power BI.
