Hours:

8:00am-5:00pm ET Monday-Friday We are looking for an energetic, organized, detail orientated individual seeking to develop a career in supply chain operations. The role has broad ranging responsibilities and combines both analysis and reporting along with hands on responsibility to ensure excellence in procurement operations. Candidates should be strong analytical thinkers with problem-solving skills, able to take initiative to identify opportunities for improvement, able to keep track of deadlines and efficiently use their time. The position provides backup and support to key positions within the supply chain team and opportunity for growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Support Purchasing Manager and Purchasing Team Lead in all aspects of day-to-day operations, reporting, and analysis to ensure supply chain business results are achieved Ensure all material requisitions, procurement activities, inventory control, and planning tasks are completed daily/weekly. Run, review and monitor purchasing reports to ensure vendor performance and on time delivery of goods and merchandise. Timely and effective contribution to both company and department KPI’s – service degree and stock turns. Maintain and update ERP system to make sure accuracy level is at optimum Assist, support, and provide backup coverage for all Supply Chain team members Help Identify, implement or make suggestions to improve efficiencies and streamline processes Perform tasks accurately and in a timely manner

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance or equivalent preferred Purchasing or supply chain experience is a plus Experience with SAP software is a plus Superior interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively Excellent verbal and written communication skills Self-motivated candidate, eager to learn team player, highly organized and goal oriented Multitasking, able to prioritize, with attention to detail Problem solver, able to create solutions to business needs Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (e.g. Excel, Outlook.) preferred Why Join Us?
