My client located in Orlando, FL is seeking a detail-oriented Purchaser to join our team. This role is responsible for purchasing, procurement, and material planning to ensure smooth production operations. The ideal candidate will have experience sourcing electrical, mechanical, and electronic components, managing supplier relationships, and optimizing inventory control.

$21 – $26 per hour

High School Responsibilities Key Responsibilities:

Buying and Procurement:

Develop and investigate sources of supply, issue requests for quotations, and negotiate pricing.
Prepare and issue purchase orders, expedite deliveries, and resolve supplier quality and payment issues.
Monitor and evaluate supplier performance to ensure on-time deliveries and quality compliance.
Maintain a purchasing database and ensure qualified suppliers are identified for all required components.
Conduct market research on trends and potential new suppliers.
Negotiate contracts and improve pricing and terms to drive cost savings.

Production Planning & Inventory Control:

Collaborate with production teams to develop and manage assembly-level production schedules.
Support daily cycle counts and inventory tracking to avoid supply disruptions.
Monitor material supply risks and identify opportunities for continuous improvements.
Work closely with procurement, materials, and manufacturing teams to streamline supply chain efficiency.

Supplier & Vendor Management:

Build, maintain, and manage supplier relationships while ensuring effective communication.
Assess and evaluate suppliers for performance reviews and contract compliance.
Act as a liaison between suppliers and internal departments to resolve any procurement challenges.
Ensure compliance with company purchasing policies, guidelines, and procedures. Skills
