Project Procurement Professional (PPM) in Proposals Position Available In Orange, Florida

• A Snapshot of Your Day (position overview)
• TheProject Procurement Professional in Proposals is the procurement lead in theproposal phase for Large Rotating Equipment (LRE) and represents theprocurement function to the project organization and the customer in theAmericas Region.

ThePPMP role crafts the project procurement budget for GT auxiliaries, introducessourcing strategies, works with the buyers to get quotes, and estimates costsfor special purchases to contribute to the success of the project and operativeresults. ThePPMP must also champion the proposal needs within the procurement department toensure all team members are working towards the proposal deadlines and goals. ThePPMP reports directly to the Procurement Manager.

• How You’ll Make an Impact (responsibilities)
• + Serveas the single point of contact between the procurement and proposal teams,leading resources to develop costs for purchase resale non-standard equipment.

+ Identifyprocurement risks, market forces, and opportunities to mitigatenon-conformances and improve Siemens’ cost position and customer benefits. + Developproposal-level delivery schedules aligned with procurement resources andsupplier capacities while ensuring proposal deadlines are met. + Supportproposal cost calculations, including supplier-related and procurement laborcosts, and ensure compliance with company policy on project cancellations. + Prepareproject forecasts and collaborate with procurement, finance, and projectmanagement teams to improve execution and resolve technical or administrativeissues. + Ensuretransparency in resource availability, provide early warnings of deviations,support project handovers, and offer mentorship or training to support staff.

• What You Bring (requirements)
• + Bachelor’sdegree or equivalent experience in related field + 5+years of successful experience in purchasing, project / proposal management, orsimilar role managing sophisticated objectives in a matrix organization + Appliesbroad and complex knowledge of specialization to complete moderately complexassignments while demonstrating a strong understanding of the organization’sbusiness practices and contributing to problem resolution.

+ Worksindependently or collaboratively in a dynamic environment with domestic andinternational teams, maintaining an organized and disciplined approach. + Excellentcommunication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, and willingness totravel up to 10% domestically or internationally. + Applicantsmust be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need forcurrent or future employer-sponsored work authorization.
