Job Description
Senior Coupa System Consultant Job Description We are looking for an experienced Coupa Consultant to help configure and optimize the Coupa Business Spend Management (BSM) platform. This role is focused on improving procurement, invoicing, subcontractor billing, and financial operations, particularly in industries such as engineering services, professional services, and construction. Responsibilities + Configure Coupa to align with client-specific procurement and accounting workflows, approval hierarchies, and compliance requirements. + Design and implement Coupa Invoicing workflows, including PO-backed and non-PO invoices, subcontractor invoicing, and milestone billing. + Integrate Coupa with ERP systems to ensure seamless financial data flow and reconciliation. + Support AP automation, invoice matching (2-way/3-way), tax handling, and exception management. + Analyze and streamline Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes, including requisitioning, sourcing, supplier onboarding, and contract compliance. + Implement sourcing strategies and supplier performance tracking using Coupa’s sourcing and supplier management tools. + Oversee data migration, cleansing, and validation activities. + Develop custom dashboards and reports for procurement, invoicing, and spend analytics. + Conduct system testing (UAT, regression, integration) to ensure accuracy and deliver training sessions and create user documentation for procurement, finance, and project teams. + Provide post-go-live support, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement recommendations. Essential Skills + Deep knowledge of Coupa modules, including Procurement, Invoicing, Expenses, and Supplier Management. + Strong understanding of accounting principles, AP/AR processes, and financial controls. + Background in engineering, construction, or professional services with complex procurement and subcontracting needs. + Experience integrating Coupa with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, etc.). + Proven ability to manage client relationships, gather requirements, and deliver tailored solutions. + Ability to diagnose system issues, analyze data discrepancies, and implement corrective actions. + Skilled in managing timelines, deliverables, and cross-functional collaboration.
