Inventory Functions:
a) Oversee quarterly stock inventory count. a. Create, print, distribute and collect and compile count sheets. b. Research and resolve gross differences in counts and make necessary adjustments in Sage. c. Print and maintain spreadsheet reports. d. Check inventory daily for negative stock values – resolve and adjust in Sage.
Purchasing Functions:
a) Purchasing – shop / production materials for factory. b) Input, print and maintain purchase orders based on written requisitions or verbal orders from management. c) Fax or email purchase orders to respective vendors and confirm receipt. a. Assure pricing & quantities are correct. b. Match-up order acknowledgements with original orders. d) Print and maintain open P.O. report. a. Provide copy to shipping/receiving for reference. e) Expedite P.O.’s based on open P.O. reports or requests from staff. f) Upon receipt of materials: a. Collect packing slips and match to copies of P.O. b. Receive items in computer. c. Deliver paperwork to accounts payable department. g) Meet with outside vendor sales representatives. a. Research potential new vendors via internet and/or telephone. b. Get price quotes and compare with existing products or services. h) Work with technical staff to ensure any new products conform to needed requirements. i) Maintain Sage vendor files: a. Add new vendors. b. Update and/or maintain existing vendor information.
Production Control Function:
a) Maintain bills of material for serialized and non-serialized assemblies. b) Maintain cut sheets for machine frames. c) Issue and adjust work tickets for serialized equipment. a. Consolidate and close work tickets when jobs are completed. d) Build assemblies for serialized equipment as they pertain to the semi-weekly production reports. Principals only.
