Responsibilities Assist faculty/staff in identifying needs for departments and/or campus-wide services and materials contracts Under minimal supervision successfully develop, post and evaluate Request for Quote (RFQ) and Sole Sources (SS) Under minimal supervision process purchase orders, including reviewing quotes, terms and conditions, as needed Expedite and reconcile purchase orders, perform internal auditing Assist in meetings to include pre-bid conferences, progress meetings, conflict resolutions, site visits and contract kick-off meetings Resolve issues regarding fulfillment of orders, invoicing, and/or returns Process queries for encumbrance reviews and/or extracting other data from purchases Assist in interview process for new hires Assist in development of University and departmental policies and procedures. Exhibit professional customer service to work collaboratively with internal and external customers Required Qualifications Educational Requirements Associate’s Degree or equivalent vocational/technical training Other Required Qualifications Obtain State-issued Georgia Certified Purchasing Associate certification (G.C.P.A.) and maintain these certifications by meeting the State Requirement continuing education units (CEU’s) in the mandated time frame Required Experience One (1) or more years of related work experience Preferred Qualifications Preferred Education Bachelor’s Degree Proposed Salary $20.71 – $25.88 per hour This is an non-exempt position paid on a bi-weekly basis.
