Job Description:
Purchase raw materials and semi-finished parts for the production of automobile seat frames to maintain optimal inventory levels and support manufacturing operations. Coordinate purchasing activities such as verifying purchasing requirements, identifying appropriate vendors, and ensuring material specifications and industry standards. Identify potential shortages of materials and distribution needs to maintain appropriate inventory levels. Compare and analyze bid proposals submitted by suppliers and make determination based on price, quality, availability, and suppliers’ business history. Prepare various documents such as purchase orders, vendor memos, price quotations, and material specifications to convey proper information regarding procurement activities to upper management.
