Student employees cannot work more than 1300 hours in a 12-consecutive month period. Responsibilities Receives, inventory, process and issue equipment, supplies and materials for the University Ships and tracks all out bound equipment (i.e., return to vendor, warranty, damages) Checks, documents conditions and reports shortages to buyers for resolution and follow-up with shippers and vendors on damaged material receipts including filing of claims document within 14 days Utilizes material handling equipment and/or physically hand load material on delivery vehicle Safely operates forklift Shift Specifics Up to 20 hours per week Flexible with schedule of availability Shifts available Monday – Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM Required Qualifications Educational Requirements Must be enrolled in six or more undergraduate credit hours or three or more graduate credit hours at Georgia Southern University.
