Buyer Location:
Alpharetta, GA Schedule:
100% onsite, 40 hours a week
Pay Range:
$21-$24/hr depending on benefits and experience Typical task breakdown: Managing VMI kanban and inventory levels Being assigned projects to be the buyer on – we are project based rather than commodity, so they will work with multiple vendors per project Managing a vendor relationship typically through bi-weekly meetings Any ad hoc requests that might come in Interaction with team : Comfortable reaching out to team for help Willing to provide a team member with support (i.e. providing backup when out of the office or willing to help with workload when/if needed) Work environment : Onsite. 5 days in the office at our Alpharetta facility Office environment with a production floor that they will sometimes be required to go out to 95% office 5% shop floor
Education & Experience Required:
3+ years’ experience in supply chain Bachelor’s degree open to a 2 year degree with 4+ years of experience open to someone having Master’s degree and having fewer years of experience would consider internships of relevant work Top 3 Skills Communication Time management Analytical skills Additional Technical Skills Microsoft Office – excel (vlookups and pivot tables) Able to learn the ERP system Soft Skills Communication Email / time management Attention to detail Problem solving
