(DLS) is looking for an experienced Purchasing Clerk to join our Duluth, GA team. This position is responsible for the procurement of miscellaneous supplies and materials used to support the production of finished goods.

Job Functions/Requirements:

Source supplies and materials from multiple vendors, ensuring compliance with specifications while optimizing cost and availability Prepare and submit purchase orders for various materials, outsourced items, and capital equipment, adhering to customer specifications and company policies Monitor receipts and invoices for accuracy, resolving discrepancies as needed Track material in transit, ensure timely delivery, and communicate changes in delivery schedules Handle claims with suppliers and freight carriers for defective or missing materials Collaborate with the Accounts Payable team and vendors to resolve invoice issues Utilize ERP systems and Excel to analyze data and provide reports to stakeholders Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal teams Stay informed about supply chain functions and support related areas when necessary Other projects/duties as assigned

Attributes/Qualifications:

2 years purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment required Working knowledge of standard procurement and outsourcing policies and procedures Self-motivated, with sound decision making and problem-solving skills High level of accuracy and attention to detail Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to work as part of a team and manage multiple priorities Proficient computer skills (ERP, Microsoft Suite, etc.) DLS is a national manufacturer of adhesive based labels that are used by companies in many industries and for a multitude of applications.
