It’s not just good sense, it’s good business! Perform purchasing duties by analyzing inventory requirements and issuing POs for products within assigned portfolio. Manage orders, verify availability and delivery dates and prioritize, schedule and expedite delivery of materials to meet target dates. Anticipate potential risks, identify actual delivery challenges, and take proactive steps to inform all stakeholders of issues and proposed resolutions.
MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
Supply chain management or business degree and manufacturing experience is preferred Meticulous and organized with effective communication skills, both written and verbal Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, and must be detailed oriented and possesses excellent analytical, organizational and communication skills (Verbal and written) with an ability to work both independently and collaboratively
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage assigned portfolio by collaborating with internal and external customers to ensure supply continuity. Anticipate potential risks, identify actual delivery challenges, and take proactive steps to inform all stakeholders of issues and proposed resolutions Participate in various activities in furtherance of proper supplier relationship management: Communicate with suppliers on a regular basis, conduct vendor meetings; inform vendors of company policies, expectations, procedures, and other matters related to doing business with Catalyst Nutraceuticals and ensure compliance with such policies and procedures Ensure data integrity and when needed, obtain required documentation for material as specified by R D, Finance and QC department (Spec, CoA, Packing List, SDS, etc.) Design, create and maintain reports, records, and files as necessary and appropriate to manage departmental operations; and provide internal stakeholders with the analytical tools and support essential to the decision-making process Prepare quarterly vendor reports detailing supplier performance based on metrics relating to service and quality.
Provide cross-functional support:
Assist R D for new product development, planning for material support and QC/QA/Process Engineers from quality issues to root cause, resolve and implement a CAPA (Corrective and Preventative Actions) for quality issues Create short term strategies to stabilize supply chain, including a risk assessment and mitigation plan for materials within assigned portfolio Attend cross functional meetings, and manage various projects and contribute to company’s annual goals and objectives
