$14.42 – $21.63 per hour (Based on Experience)

Shift Work Location:
Onsite (No Remote/Hybrid) Coordinates activities involved with procuring spare parts, safety items, supplies, etc. by performing the duties listed below. The Tool Crib/Procurement Assistant should have the capability to read and interpret process information; and understand the impact their actions have on the quality objective.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Receives spare parts into system and puts them away. Issues spare parts from the system and confirm the count in the system against the physical count. Conducts cycle counts and reports the result to the supervisor. If discrepancies in inventory count is noticed, takes the necessary corrective actions. Reviews Reorder Report to determine any spare parts that need reordering, based on Min/Max set for each part. Confers with suppliers to obtain product or service information such as price, availability, and delivery schedule. Reviews multiple price quotes per spare part to determine best option to replenish inventory with supervisor. Prepares and generates spare part requisitions as needed, obtains necessary approvals and processes into purchase orders. Make sure ordered items are shipped from supplier and received on time. Ensures that all spare parts are available at all time. Reviews purchase requisitions for items generated by other departments, obtains/reviews multiple price quotes with supervisor. Generates purchase order for suppliers and enters in Oracle database. Prepares for shipment of parts to be repaired/reworked, including filling out necessary forms. Maintains procurement records such as purchase order, approved requisition, quotes, drawings, etc. Keeps up to date on purchasing techniques.

EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Computer literate. Ability to operate office machines such as fax, typewriter, calculator, copier and computer terminal. Driver’s License required.
