EXPERIENCE

Excellent MS Excel skills – must haveexperience in Excel creating tables, formulas, and organizing datainto a presentable format. Have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written,self-motivated, and be able to drive a process from start tofinish. Excellent interpersonal skills, analytical, verbal, organizationalskills, ability to balance short term priorities, and exceptionalinformational analysis. Excellent scheduling and time management skills. Exhibits a high level to attention to detail. Skilled in coordinating and prioritizing multiple projectssimultaneously. Experience in a fast-paced environment.

JOB DESCRIPTION

—Offload purchasing of wire, optical, mech labels, mech COTS, andGSE from three Buyers on the team. There has been an extensive surge for TRex purchasing combined withadditional processes since the SAP transition, multiple members ofthe team are at capacity. Bringing on another Buyer will help offload three Buyers, allowingthem to have more bandwidth to manage their OTD, convert PRs to POsquicker, manage lead time updates and budgetary quote requests,etc. They will also have more bandwidth to work and get ahead ofsupplier setup and maintenance, work on increasing our supplierbase, and research possible LTAs. This buyer will also be trained on purchasing EEE components and bebackup for the main buyer which we do not have right now. Reducing workload for these Buyers will also help prevent burnoutfrom the amount of work they have on their plates.

Working knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR)and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS)compliance

SAP/PRISM
