Contract Specialist / Procurement Analyst Position Available In Orleans, Louisiana

Ideal candidate has experience working in a contracts or procurement setting; however, based on budget, and the location of the role, they are open to someone new to the workforce who has the right soft-skills.

• 1-2 years of hands-on experience supporting Software Asset Management (SAM) programs, preferably in an enterprise environment.
• Solid understanding of software license types (e.g., perpetual, subscription, user/device-based) and familiarity with vendor-specific models (Microsoft, Adobe, Oracle, etc.).
• Experience tracking and managing entitlements, true-ups, renewals, and terminations across multiple software vendors.
• Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, data validation) to manage, analyze, and reconcile license and usage data.
• Familiarity with IT asset management or SAM tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Snow, Flexera, Lansweeper, or similar) to track inventory and monitor compliance.
• Ability to consolidate and validate data from multiple sources to support compliance audits and usage optimization efforts.
• Skilled in interpreting license agreements and understanding usage rights and restrictions.
• Comfortable creating reporting dashboards or visual summaries for internal stakeholders.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to spot discrepancies or anomalies in data.
• Effective communicator who can work cross-functionally with Procurement, IT, Finance, and Legal teams.
