The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient procurement of goods and services necessary for our operations. This position involves managing inventory levels, processing purchase orders, and collaborating with suppliers to maintain optimal supply chain performance. The Purchaser will contribute to our goal of achieving cost-effective purchasing while ensuring quality and timely delivery of products. Responsibilities Process purchase orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with company policies. Manage inventory levels by monitoring stock and placing orders as necessary to prevent shortages. Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate prices, terms, and delivery schedules. Utilize logistics software and systems such as SAP and Edwards for tracking orders and inventory management. Assist in production planning by coordinating with relevant departments to align purchasing needs with production schedules. Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier information for future reference. Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy in stock levels and identify discrepancies. Support e-commerce initiatives by managing online inventory and fulfilling orders promptly. Analyze market trends to identify potential cost-saving opportunities in procurement. Experience Previous experience in purchasing or supply chain management is preferred. Familiarity with logistics processes and inventory control systems is advantageous. Proficient in using software tools such as SAP or Edwards for procurement tasks. Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess pricing structures and negotiate effectively. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.

Schedule:

Temporary until October. 1st shift: 7am-4pm or 7:30am-4:30pm
