Position Overview:

We areseeking a Procurement Specialist with extensive experience inshared-risk contracting strategies, particularly Guaranteed MaximumPrice (GMP) contracts and Engineering, Procurement, andConstruction (EPC) projects. The ideal candidate will have a strongunderstanding of regulatory requirements, including those set forthby the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), a proven trackrecord in developing bid criteria for assessing GMP/EPC proposals,and experience in creating pricing workbooks for GMP/EPC contracts.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist the project team in implementingprocurement strategies that leverage shared-risk contractingmodels, including GMP/EPC. Ensure that all procurement documentsand processes are aligned with regulatory compliance standards,including FERC regulations, to mitigate risks and ensure adherenceto legal requirements. Create and maintain pricing workbooks forGMP/EPC contracts, ensuring accurate and transparent pricingstructures that align with project requirements. Create andmaintain scorecard criteria for evaluating GMP proposalsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment ofprocurement strategies with project goals and regulatorycompliance. Conduct regular reviews of procurement documentation toensure compliance with applicable regulations and internalpolicies. Monitor and report on procurement performance metrics,identifying areas for improvement and implementing best practices.

Support the development of procurement policies and proceduresregarding shared-risk contracting strategies, which enhanceoperational efficiency and risk management.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree Equivalent experience of 5 yearsof experience in procurement, with a focus on shared-riskcontracting strategies & EPC projects. In-depth knowledge ofshared-risk GMP contracting methodologies and extensive experiencein developing pricing workbooks for GMP contracts. Provenexperience in developing scorecard criteria for GMP proposalassessment, which maintains compliance to regulatory requirementsand standards. Strong understanding of regulatory requirementsaffecting procurement processes, including FERC regulations.

Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
