Job Description About the role:

TheChief Procurement Officer (CPO) will build and execute Takeda’sglobal procurement strategy in line with Takeda’s corporatephilosophy. Positioning the procurement as a powerhouse of valuecreation and competitive advantage for the business, CPO developsand leads the best-in-class and high-performing procurementfunction that focuses on total cost of ownership, drives innovationand continuous improvements, leverages technologies for efficiencyand thrives for excellence.

How you will contribute:

Develop andimplement procurement strategies aligned with Takeda’s Value andits business goals. Drive value creation from identifyingopportunities to execution. Build a best-in-class andhigh-performing team that establishes strong supplier relationshipsand stays ahead of industry trends with advanced data analytics andcompetitive intelligence. Establish a trusted and constructiverelationships with key senior leaders in Business Units (BUs) andFunctions (BFs) in partnership with Finance Leadership Team (FLT)to enable the effective implementation of the procurementstrategies and co-drive financial performance. Preferred Qualifications:

15 years of progressiveprocurement leadership experience, with hands-on experience incategory management and business partnership. Proven track recordin leading a global procurement organization with exceptionalleadership skills inspiring and motivating a team. Goodunderstanding of pharmaceutical business value chain. Strongfinancial acumen across commercial, R D, or manufacturing.

Ability to navigate in matrix organization and effectively drivedynamic procurement initiatives across multiple business units andfunctions globally. Demonstrated success building datainfrastructure and analytical capabilities. Base Salary Range:

$304,000.00 – $418,000.00 The estimatedsalary range reflects an anticipated range for this position. Theactual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors,including the qualifications of the individual applicant for theposition, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills,level of education attained, certifications or other professionallicenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/orfrom which they will be performing the job.

The actual base salaryoffered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wagerequirements for the job location. U.S. based employees may beeligible for short-term and/or long-termincentives. U.S.basedemployees may be eligible to participate in medical, dental, visioninsurance, a 401(k) plan and company match, short-term andlong-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, a tuitionreimbursement program, paid volunteer time off, company holidays,and well-being benefits, among others.
