Job Summary Under general supervision of a Purchasing Manager, responsible for Planning and Purchasing materials to support the ZOLL production lines. Making Expense Buys. Leading projects and training to support the Purchasing department. Essential Functions Work with Oracle system and MRP for assigned items Generate and issue POs, managing, and maintaining metrics Action MRP messages to support ideal inventory levels Communicate with suppliers and maintaining purchase order dates and pricing Communicate with other departments on material status and delivery dates of shortages On-Time Delivery and Supplier improvements as needed. Maintain items and MRP fields to support ideal inventory levels and accurate MRP calculations Support Engineering and SQE with engineering changes and quality issues Provide New Product support Proven ability to develop and improve supply chain network and supplier relationships. Lead improvement projects with internal teams and external suppliers Train and lead team members as needed Required/Preferred Education and Experience Bachelor’s Degree required At least 7 years buying/planning experience APICS Certification Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Excellent knowledge of MRP systems, Oracle preferred Advanced abilities on Microsoft Office Products – Word, Excel, Teams, and PowerPoint ZOLL is a fast-growing company that operates in more than 140 countries around the world.
