Duties and Responsibilities Ordering materials necessary for spare parts orders, machine builds and inventory stock requirements. Research, select and purchase quality products and materials. Build relationships with suppliers and negotiate with them for the best pricing. Process requisitions and update management on status of orders. Update inventory and ensure that stock levels are kept at appropriate levels. Arrange transport of goods and track orders to ensure timely delivery. Coordinate with operations team, management, and shipper/receiver as required. Track quality of material received and escalate any discrepancies to suppliers and management. Obtaining appropriate pricing. Developing sources for materials. Reporting parts/vendor situations that might delay our shipments. Ability to pass Drug test and Background check Ability to read, write and verbally communicate in English Must provide proof of citizenship or right to work in USA Skills Required commercial judgement with quantity versus price and delivery options product/technical knowledge including ability to “read” technical drawings time management to meet deadlines communication and negotiation skills with vendors and team members computer skills and experience with ERP are a must experience with
