The position of Procurement Coordinator will be based out of Bangor, ME! Summary
The Procurement Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Procurement team on day-to-day tasks including monitoring inventory levels, expediting, and scheduling the delivery of purchase orders for inventory replenishment and customer backorders, as well as placing purchase orders when needed. Will work with various internal and external stakeholders to ensure problems are resolved in a timely manner. What You’ll Do Support Procurement team with day-to-day tasks including monitoring inventory levels, expediting, and scheduling the delivery of purchase orders for inventory replenishment and customer backorders, as well as placing purchase orders when needed
Daily review of critical items below minimum, allocations, or stock outs for regional Customer Solution Centers
Meet or exceed defined fill rate/service level for regional branches and/or assigned supplier lines
Work with suppliers when there are any shipping issues or discrepancies with product (e.g. non-conformity receipts issues including incorrect items, damaged boxes, quantity differences, poor quality, etc.)
Assist payable variance resolution with Accounts Payable team when invoice matching issues arise
Coordinate with warehouse on delivery status of purchase orders and communication to and from suppliers and freight forwarders on expedited shipment dates
Monitor and push out communication on expedited shipments and updates from suppliers to sales teams and into ERP system
Interface with multiple departments and resolve problems and issue as necessary
Analyze and manage unhealthy inventory by updating stock flags, reviewing item minimums, and coordinating excess inventory transfers back to the Customer Solution Center
Assist Inventory Planner with negotiations and execution of supplier returns

What You’ll Need High School or GED required Experience 2+ years of procurement experience preferred
Prior experience in the electrical distribution industry preferred Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office products
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
Ability to communicate effectively with partners at all levels
Be a self-starter
Attention to detail
Excellent time management skills
