About the Position
This is a time limited NS-14 position. This position works with agency staff to procure goods and services for the various programs and locations across the state and for the health and safety of the citizens of the state of MS. Ensure that all state, agency and federal regulations are followed when making purchases. Communicate effectively with agency programs and vendors. Resolve issues with agency program and vendors. Enter purchase orders in MAGIC. Process requests in agency internal purchasing program. Enter goods receipts as receipt documentation and invoices arrive. Deliver payment information to Accounts Payable for final processing. CMPA Certification preferred but not required. Upon hire applicant is required to obtain CMPA Certification within 6 months of hire. Exceptional customer service skills.
