Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Purchasing Agent to purchase goods and services necessary for our business. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and be business oriented. The candidate will need to analyze quotes from multiple venders and determine the best value.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop profitable purchasing strategies.
• Assess supplier profiles and analyze offers.
• Prepare and implement effective negotiation tactics.
• Manage relationships with key suppliers to maintain quality of goods, timely delivery, and compliance to terms of contracts.
• Keep updated records.

Requirements and skills:

• Proven experience as a manufacturing purchasing agent or relevant role
• Experience in negotiating prices, terms, and conditions.
• Knowledge of data analysis and purchasing best practices
• Good knowledge of MS Office and ERP software
• Excellent communication and people skills
• A strong analytical mindset
• Outstanding organizational skills
• 5+ years in a manufacturing purchasing role

Education:

• High School Diploma Required
• Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.

Job Type:

Full-time Pay:

$60,000.00 – $70,000.00 per year
